ECE alumna, Prof. Meixia TAO has just been elevated to IEEE Fellow

 ECE alumna, Prof. Meixia TAO has just been named an IEEE Fellow, being recognized: 
"for contributions to resource allocation in broadband wireless networks"
Prof. Tao is currently a Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. She received the PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2003.
The IEEE Fellow grade is one of the Institute's most prestigious honors. It is conferred by the IEEE Board of Directors upon a person with an outstanding record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest. The total number selected in any one year cannot exceed one-tenth of one- percent of the total voting membership. IEEE Fellow is the highest grade of membership and is recognized by the technical community as a prestigious honor and an important career achievement.
